Devesh A. Pathak, a commerce and law graduate is a Fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) as well as Registered Insolvency Professional. He is a Practising Company Secretary with a career spanning about 38 years including 11 years in employment rendering professional services of corporate planning and solutions mainly in the areas of Corporate & Securities laws, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, giving legal opinions and representing before various statutory and other forums. He is empanelled Peer Reviewer of ICSI.
He is Independent Director on the Board of listed & unlisted companies. He is honorary Company Law Consultant of Federation of Gujarat Industries and a member of CII Central Gujarat Finance & Economic Affairs Panel.
He was Public Interest Director on the Board of Vadodara Stock Exchange Ltd. He was WIRC member of ICSI (2001-2003). He held Chairmanship and other office bearer ship of Vadodara Chapter of ICSI (1991-2000). He co-ordinated and was faculty of oral coaching classes by Vadodara Chapter of ICSI for years together. He was also visiting faculty at M.S University of Baroda. He has contributed articles of professional and other subjects in newspapers and journals including Chartered Secretary, The Economic Times, Financial Express (Gujarati), Indian Express, Focus, Direct Indirect tax laws and views, Taxguru, Bluechip, SEBI & Corporate laws. He has also been sharing his views at various professional and other forums including Electronic media.
